Join us in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through a day of service, reflection, and community impact. The 19th annual MLK Day of Service will take place on Monday, January 19, 2026. Whether you’re part of a student organization or a group of friends, we invite you to come together and serve alongside others.
Key Details:
- Date: Monday, January 19, 2026
- Location: Departure from Jake Nevin Fieldhouse; Service at a local community partner site
- Who Can Register: Students, Faculty, and Staff of Villanova University
- What to Expect: Meaningful service projects across the the local community, opportunities for reflection, and a chance to connect with others committed to justice and service.
- Timing:
- 7:15am - Group leader arrival at the Jake Nevin Field house for check in
- 7:30am - Volunteer arrival at the Jake Nevin Field House for check in and community gathering. This will include some light breakfast items and a gathering lead by the MLK Day of Service Committee and Fr. Peter Donohue, OSA.
- *Some partners may require participants to go directly to the site. Those groups will know of this change
- 8:30am - Groups begin to depart for service sites
- 9:00am-12:00pm - Service projects occur.
- *Some community partners wish to have participants stay until 1pm. If this is the case, lunch will be provided on site. Those groups will know of this change.
- Between 12:30 and 2pm- Return to campus
- *Timing will be confirmed close to the date. It will be determined by how long a group is at a site and what the approximate travel time is.

- If you are registering as a group at one time, please click "reserve" and you can register all participants at once.
- The group leader will serve as the primary contact for updates and logistics.
- If you are registering individually, you may follow all of the prompts. You may select a group you wish to service with or create a group if you wish. You may also register as an individual and we will work to group people together.
